Nick Cannon Transferred to Los Angeles Hospital After Kidney Failure

Following an episode of "mild kidney failure"  – according to wife Mariah Carey – Nick Cannon has been transferred from Aspen, Colorado, to a medical facility in Los Angeles.

The America's Got Talent host, 31, was hospitalized in Aspen yesterday while on vacation with his family. Carey drew national attention when she started tweeting and posting photos about the episode ("Please pray for Nick as he's fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure. #mybraveman"). A source told Us Weekly about the transfer by private jet to L.A., "Nick looked pretty frail and weak, but Mariah was helping him."

The cause of his kidney failure has not been released, but Cannon is optimistic. He tweeted last night, "Currently being [transferred] to a hospital in LA. Thank you all for all your love, prayers and concern. You know me . . . I will be a'ight."
